Hi! I'm looking for boy x boy romance books, but also with storybuilding and other things happening apart from the romance. I read a lot of yaoi manga and fanfics back in the day but a lot of them are too cliché or the story focus only on the romance, I like that but I also want a rich world and backstory.
I read a lot of comics online like countdown to countdown, The hunt (also avialae from the same artist, one of my favorites), Electric Bones, The summer Hikaru died…
I recently read 'You weren't mean to be human' and became one of my all time fav books, the fact that the main character is trans adds a lot, I also don't mind if they're non binary, it doesn't have to be a gay cis romance.
These days I read a lot of terror, but I don't mind a good fantasy book with a good ending.
What I love the most is a good enemies to lovers slowburn, I tried to watch heated rivarly but the sex comes too quick in the story and very explicit, don't get me wrong I love hot scenes, but I need to get to know better the characters and their relationship first.
I know is a lot to ask, but thank you to anyone making a recommendation!
