I'm not an avid reader but lately I have been and I've been tearing through some books. I've been rereading old books and recently read some books of movies that I liked because I feel like you can enjoy them more from a different perspective.
Getting to the point, almost all the books I've read I've already had a point of reference, either a movie, a video game, a TV series or someone told me about them ahead of time.
What I'm looking for is a recommendation for a book series that I can dig into that I have no point of reference for ahead of time.
I've read Tolkien, King, Steinbeck, Doyle, Dickens, Collins, The dune series (1-3), The Expanse series, and a bunch more than I can't think of off the top of my head.
Only rule is it must be fiction beyond that I don't care.
