Hi, all!
I watched a show on HBO Max recently called "The Curious Case Of…" by the Investigation Discovery channel(?). It's a show that covers a weird crime/legal case every episode. I love learning about these cases and I was wondering if anyone could recommend me some books focusing on stories similar to ones covered in the show. I'm open to any type of case except for ones that involve or recount graphic animal abuse.
If it helps, I read a book fairly recently that I was just enthralled with called "The Mother Next Door: Medicine, Deception, and Munchausen by Proxy" by Andrea Dunlop and Mike Weber. I could not put it down. I adored how it was written in an accessible and straight forward way. I'd love something that reads similarly to that book.
Thank you in advance! 🙂

If you like true crime, try the nonfiction book “In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote. It’s a classic true crime account of the brutal murder of a Kansas family in 1959 and the subsequent investigation. Capote’s writing is captivating and reads more like a novel than a traditional true crime book.
