I‘m looking for suggestions for books to read to my girls, ages 8 & 10. I read to them every night, and have done so for years. English is their second language, we live in Europe, so that’s why I read to them instead of having g them read themselves.
Some of the books we’ve read include :
Nearly every Boxcar children book, the Mixed up files of Mrs. Basil E frankweiler, Percy Jackson 1-4,
Harry Potter books 1-5, plus numerous other children’s classics like Scarlett‘s Web, the black stallion and pippi longstocking
