Yea, yes I know I am extremely late to the party. I just finished reading Elantris, and I ended up really liking it. I especially liked the fmc Sarene. Usually I’m not a huge fan of fmc in fantasy novels but something about her personality and how smart she was made be like her. I want a fantasy book like Elantris with a little bit more romance maybe?

For smart FMC in fantasy I always recommend Guns of the Dawn by Adrian Tchaikovsky, there’s some romance but not a ton, more toward the end of the book.
