Recently released fantasy book that has adventure and intrigue and likable characters that are not bad people or “morally grey”

I have read a fair amount of fantasy so that is why I am asking for recently published books, to avoid getting suggestions for books I already have read.

So here are my main points of interest:

1. Published within the past 2 or so years.
2. The first book in the series, or a standalone. Nothing that is part of an older series.
3. Main characters are good people. They dont need to be perfect, but they need to be good enough that I would be okay being their friend.
4. Not bleak and dark and hopeless and nihilistic. I want people to overcome difficulties. I want to see people I like succeed.
5. I want some sort of action or adventure to play a big role. I dont like books that are all about politics or stuff like that.
