I'm interested in books where tarot cards actually drive the story, not just show up for atmosphere. Something where the structure or plot is built around the cards themselves.
I know Italo Calvino's The Castle of Crossed Destinies does this. Also heard about Claire McMillan's Alchemy of a Blackbird that gets into tarot and art.
What else is out there? Could be fantasy, literary, whatever. Just want the cards to matter.
