looking for a book where there's a prevalent female side character who is treated as somewhat of a "villain" by both the author/characters/readers. my most specific example is Lydia Bennet from Pride and Prejudice and her ending. it also helps if the main character is also a woman, and is written as this "different girl" who is smart, pretty, humble, and passionate about some academic or just a pursuit in general (like Elizabeth lol). i know its a relatively common trope, but i can't think of anything specific.
