Light/ fun books

Hi 🙂

I‘m looking for some quick and easy to read books. I don’t really care about the genre 🙂 I do care about the „quality“ though.

I‘m mostly reading fantasy books but my life has been busier the past months and I found myself not reading as much anymore because I just don’t always have the brain capacity.

That’s why I looked for some romances, rom-coms, contemporary books etc. but especially the romances were kind of disappointing. I feel like the popular ones all follow the same themes, tropes or the characters feel one dimensional to me.

So I hope y’all have some recommendations for me. I really like characters and worlds that feel real and authentic, found family and for now mostly fun/ light books that are also kind of exciting (so just not boring). What I don’t really like is miscommunication or when the characters act in a way that feels unnatural to their personality.

For Vibes:

Some of the books I like are: Song of Achilles, 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, the Cradle Series, Six of Crows, Dark Rise, Strange the Dreamer, Night Circus

Some that I hate: Any book by Sarah J Maas or Colleen Hoover, Tomorrow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow, The Atlas Six, Love on the Brain
