Looking for new books to read.

I am looking for a new books to read. I am typically a high fantasy or sci-fi reader. I am not really a huge romance reader, as I am a plot/character development reader. I do enjoy a decent political sub-plot or if the romance is a sub-plot but not as a main focus.
