I’ve officially reached the limit of my current "To-Be-Read" pile, and by "limit," I mean the stack on my nightstand has achieved a level of structural instability that makes it a genuine safety hazard. I’m currently staring at my copy of Dune for the third time, debating if I should just re-read the entire Arrakis saga or finally branch out into something that doesn't involve giant worms and political spice-trading.

I’m in a weird headspace where I want something that feels like a "cult classic" but in prose. My movie collection is mostly obscure B-movie horror and 70s exploitation films—the kind of stuff that’s a little gritty, a little weird, and definitely niche. Is there a book equivalent to a low-budget horror flick that somehow manages to be a masterpiece? I’m looking for something with that "I found this in a dusty corner of a thrift store and now it’s my whole identity" energy.

Give me your best "if you like weird cinema and massive sci-fi epics, you’ll love this" suggestions.
