Books that jump between events that are currently happening and events that happened years back (that are relevant to the events happening now)

Hopefully the title of the post isn't too confusing, and makes sense.

I really like IT by Stephen King and how it intertwined the events that were happening in real time with memories from the characters when they were younger, and jumped between the two when necessary to give back story to what is happening.

I'm looking for similar books, can be from any genre, as long as its fiction.
