i like the character dynamics of leon and ada in re 4 and even though leon's mission has nothing to do with ada, she helps him around (subtly) whilst she carries out her own mission.
after a while their paths cross and they have a common goal, but in the end they go their separate ways again.
are there any books set in a horror/apocalyptic scene with such character dynamics?
i really wanna read a book with a strong pair of characters that don't necessarily work together from the start (or at all times) and i wouldn't mind a romance sub-plot.
