Yo, I'm looking for a book that contains Avery interesting diseases. It may sound weird but I'm just curious, I rly like severe neurological disorders and necrosis diseases. Again, I'm not trying to be one of these "gore is silly type ppl" just a curious 15 yo. Also I want a book that doesn't contain all the diseases like child diarrhea or sum, just those that I said earlier.

Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green
The Family That Couldn’t Sleep by D. T. Max
The hot zone- that author has several books surrounding diseases and outbreaks
Brain on Fire by Susannah Cahalan
The Beauty in Breaking
Parasite Rex by Carl Zimmer
Plagues & Poxes: The Impact of Human History on Epidemic Disease by Alfred J. Bollett. This one is written in a more dense textbook-like way, but I thought it was very informative. It may be hard to get into, though.
The Poisoner’s Handbook was pretty good but not so much about disease. More about the beginning of forensic science.
