I read The Song of Achilles at the beginning of the year and I think it ruined reading for me. I’ve been trying to listen to audiobooks but haven’t been able to find a good one recently. I’ve already read the They Both Die at the End series (I liked it but I need something with more depth), Call Me by Your Name, and started Infinity Son. I need something like YA but maybe a little more on the mature side. I love Adam Silvera but some of his characters annoy me so much. TSOA has been my favorite book and I need something similar. I listened to Circe by Madeline Miller and I loved it so much. She’s a great author but I need something to get a good gay cry out lol. Thank you in advance!

If you’re willing to read a series to get to the sad gut wrenching end, Ariel Tachna Partnership in Blood series, first book Alliance in Blood. The first four books are the main series, woth later spin offs. Available as an ebook and paperback. These are also urban fantasy so if that genre of MM romance doesn’t work for you this won’t.
