I’ve never read Agatha Christie before, but I really want to try her books.
I enjoy mystery with clever twists and endings that make you rethink everything.
Which book would be the best starting point?
(Also, are there any I should avoid as a first read?)

And Then There Were None is a good starting option if you want a one-off (not part of a series). As for what you should avoid as first read, the only one that comes to mind is “Curtain” because it’s the final book of Poirot series and let’s just say that it hits differently than the other book in the series.
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. Just read it, don’t look anything up about it. Go in completely cold.
