I didn’t like:

The People’s History of America by Howard Zinn

Stamped from the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi

The Autobiography of Malcolm X

So in short: sports and technology/business are a yes, (auto)biographies a maybe, and pure history a no. Open to any and all suggestions, but definitely nonfiction.
