It’s that "I’m not moving but I will end you" energy. Is there a specific name for this trope? I need more books like this. Does anyone have recommendations for this "still waters run deep" kind of danger? I usually read fantasy but I'm open to sci-fi or even experimental fiction if the vibes are this intense.
