Agrippina, Joan of Arc, Empress Theodora, or even up to the 19th century. Primarily I want to learn about interesting/unique/powerful historical women in a fictionalized narrative, or pop history. Non fiction is acceptable as well but primarily searching for fictionalized accounts, kind of like Robert Graves' *I, Claudius*
Something like Katherine by Anya Seton. I'd prefer more literary stuff as well, not so much pulpy/romance
