Books similar to those of Freida McFadden?

I mostly see Lisa Jewell’s and John Marrs being repeated recommendations. What’s their real difference? Is there another author that published thrillers that are similar to McFadden?

Seriously asking for a friend. I do not typically read such books.

I liked We Are All the Same in the Dark by Julia Heaberlin. Her other books weren’t as good though. This one hit different for some reason.
