Hi this post is for a close relative of mine, its their birthday coming up and I wanted to gift them a nice book. I know they loved Persepolis and generally look forward to books that are set in Iran and other middle eastern countries (I know they are currently reading a book set in Turkey). I would love some recommendations of books that would allow them to explore Iranian literature. As an aside any suggestions of books that allows one to explore Turkish literature would also be welcome, since I know that’s one of the areas they’re interested in.
