My previous two books that I read were The Nightingale and The Goldfinch. While they are both really good books, they were very emotionally draining. And The Goldfinch is very long.
So, I'm looking for something more light hearted and I kinda stumbled on Lost Lambs. Beyond the reviews, I know nothing about the book or the author
Who are some authors that you would compare Madeline Cash to? If you have experience with her, this book or others I would appreciate your comments.

Never heard of Madeline Cash but if you’re coming off those two heavy hitters you definitely need something that won’t leave you staring at the ceiling at 2am
