Hi friends!
I am an elementary school teacher and since it has warmed up where I live, there are more and more bugs out and about. Mostly, important pollinators and good bugs that are attracted to the clover field on my schools campus.
This week, my students have taken an unfortunate interest in catching and smooshing these bugs. I’d love any book recs that can help me teach my students to not only to respect the bugs, but also to encourage healthy relationships with nature and the other creatures around us. The bugs they are targeting are ladybugs, butterflies, and bees.
I’ve literally never been faced with this problem. I know there has got to be a book that can help.
