Ages ago in a video (I don't remember the channel or title) someone talked about this book and I have been thinking about it again.
What I remember:
-People in this world, possibly just this city, are stuck to relive the same day over and over
-the protagonist, i think female, eventually starts murdering townsfolk and becomes very efficient and skilled at doing so, basically speedrunning it every day. The loop resets and the people can't really die. Everyone seems to keep their memory as well.
-i think it started as her defending herself, but she kept honing her skills thereafter
-she eventually stopped and I remember her having a conversation with an elderly lady about her murders? Not sure.
I remembered the book and want to read it myself, to see and appreciate the themes explored in such a setting. I hope the details I remember are enough!
