New children’s librarian here. Summer display theme set by local charity and will be ‘in the spotlight’ so looking for books on-theme! Display is definitely for the primary years but I’m happy to make a secondary one if there are good ones I need to include!

been working with kids displays for a while and some that always work well are anything about theater/performance – like “the school play” type stories. also biographies of young performers or athletes tend to be popular, especially if they’re picture book format for the younger ones
you might want to check if your library system has any books about kids overcoming stage fright too, those usually tie in nicely with spotlight themes
