I have read Bunny and its sequel by Mona Awad and I’m currently reading The Secret History by Donna Tart. A long time ago I also read Dirty Rush by Taylor Bell. I’m realizing, as I’m reading Tart, that I love college stories. Makes me reminiscent and I just love the need to balance class and parties with whatever else is going on with the main characters.
Any other great books (entertaining and/or well written) based in college?
While I’m open to fantasy, I’m more interested in real world. I’d prefer if the story took place between 2010-2019 as I think it would be most relatable (cell phones, pop culture, politics, etc) , but, again, I’m loving the Secret History, so that’s not required. I’m also not the biggest fan of romance books, but it’s okay if it’s not the main focus of the story.

Deep Cuts by Holly Brickley begins when two college students who strike up a friendship based on their music obsession.
Other People’s Clothes by Calla Henkel
The Maidens by Alex Michaelides
The Eights by Joanna Miller- this is historical, taking place in the 20s. But I think it’s what you’re looking for- as it’s about four women who will be among the first to be granted degrees.
