Weirdly Specific but Id like to read a book with a character like Peter Draws from YouTube. Ive been watching his youtube shorts and they are just whimsical and uplifting. He rides around on his bike and randomly does chalk drawings. He has a bookshelf with a little doll-man named Dan who has lots of random furniture and a backstory. He stops and enjoys the little things like how pretty flowers are or the funny absurdity of toilet paper marketing. Worth checking out if you havent heard of him.
Ive been a bit sad lately and I could really use some more of that lighthearted 'enjoy the little things and be creative' mentality in my life right now to try to emulate a little. Someone who reminds me of this vibe is the girl named Aurie from Name of the Wind. Another somewhat similar vibe is Waymond from the movie Everthing, Everywhere, All at Once.
