Hi everyone,
My son loves Henry Huggins, Dahl, and Elizabeth Enright's books. He soured a bit on the Penderwicks and didn't like Gary Paulsen books for bedtime. I suggested the Vanderbeekers but he didn't like it.
We tried The Mouse and the Motorcycle but he said Ralph's dad's death was too scary.
He likes Have Spacesuit Will Travel but that has been religated to audiobook in the car because it's too exciting. Chris Grabbenstein's books are for daytime for similar reasons.
His older brother has already read him Katherine Applegate, the wild robot series, Lloyd Alexander, Narnia, and many Kate DiC books.
Thank you
