hi! im looking for some new books, and i want something with a specific vibe. i have always loved retrofuturistic settings with huge, daunting megastructures. bonus points if there's airships. i love airships. preferably set on earth rather than any space settings. for vibes, think the divine beasts from breath of the wild, the huge trash towers of wall-e, giant abandoned robots and cities. just sort of a desolate vibe. obviously nothing is going to check all of those boxes, but if you know of anything that has similar vibes id love to know!

Philip Reeve’s Mortal Engines series is set in a dystopian steampunk future with desolation everywhere and lots of airships.
The Obscure Cities (Les Cités obscures) series by François Schuiten and Benoît Peeters (graphic novels).
Not sci-fi but Martha Well’s Raksura books are set on a world with countless sentient species and civilizations and the entire world is covered in megastructures and ruins, and there’s a ton of different airships(and floating islands)
