I also really liked both of those. My recommendation would be Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer or The River Has Roots by Amal El-Motar (one of the writers for Time War)

It’s fantasy rather than sci-fi (although there are some sci-fi elements), but I’d recommend giving R Scott Bakker’s The Prince of Nothing trilogy a look.

A Memory Called Empire duology by Arkady Martine. It’s more high energy, but poetic and poetry is a huge part of the culture of the world that is depicted.
