I want to start reading more about the history of the world. specifically starting from the first civilizations in Mesopotamia onwards. I know its a bit vague but I keep hearing about the akkanids, ottomans, Sumerians etc. and I want to have a place to start for the general outline of how all these empires formed and fell.
