A few years ago I read most of Wilbur Smith's novels, especially his Courtney series after finding one of his books in a little free library. Lately I have been on a big personal kick of studying nonfiction books about India and after many volumes I have found myself 90% done with David Davidar's magisterial family epic, The House of Blue Mangos. Now I am hoping to read some more historical fiction concerning India's past — colonial and otherwise — and am especially interested in the genre of adventure.
