Hello,
Looking for recommendations of desert, national park, etc. books however, not looking for like typical landscape, make your home like the forest book. I am yearning to read books of just exploration in these areas, it can range from the odd and mysterious to the “I happened to stop by this mountain town which no one ever knew of”. I know this is a broad subject but for some context Ive read:
Desert Oracle by Ken Layne (odd-mysterious, little known history)
Ranger Confidential by Andrea Lankford (first hand accounts)
Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey (first hand accounts)
