I need a book that’s relatively easy to pick up and put down for obvious reasons (like I won’t get lost if the reading is fragmented), relatively lighthearted but interesting. I will need something for during labor but also the following hospital stay and recovery as my baby is due soon. I love dramas and mysteries but also historical fiction— I’m open to anything really as long as it isn’t too dark or sexual (because who needs that in labor)
