I just finished playing outer wilds (the video game) and I think it may have changed me, like, permanently. I need a break from video games to process, but in the meantime I would love to hear about books that really affected you, whether that’s emotionally or spiritually or anything.

I love reading and will read pretty much anything, but my favourites are fantasy, mystery, and science/history non-fiction, so bonus points for that I suppose. But seriously, recommend anything!!

    1. **Treasure Island** & **The Hobbit**

These got me into reading more books and also that urge to just step out and go looking for something, anything. That feeling never really left me though. As an adult, I find traces of it in works like The Beach, and while I haven’t found that one-of-a-kind adventure yet, I guess I’m still waiting for it.

Just finished The Wager. About 6 ships that set sale from England to South America to capture a Spanish treasure galleon. The wager gets shipwrecked and the men need to survive. Betrayed, death, sickness, brutal conditions. It’s a true story from 1741

    3. The Midnight Library! I will think about this book every day for the rest of my life.
