I really enjoyed the complex topics discussed in The Da Vinci Code and the saturated historical landscape and environmental described throughout the book. The pacing also helps tremendously with the world building, and it does not feel that it is dragging the reader through too much exposition.
What are your thoughts on this?

Anything by Dan Brown needs a big asterisk next to history
Well it’s a lot easier when you tweak historical fact to fit the narrative or just make stuff up.
i think it’s one of the worst books I’ve ever read

Unfortunately the author seemed to have forgotten this in the sequels. The lost symbol was awful imho.
Da Vinci Code by the esteemed author Dan Brown?
