I’m a big fan of Cormac McCarthy’s gritty, rustic post western sort of style and want to know what else is out there that fits that mold. I read Lonesome Dove and loved it as much as the next guy but felt that kind of western story was a bit of a crowd pleaser compared to something like The Border Trilogy or Blood Meridian. Interested to see what’s out there I may not know of!
