This is a total long shot. But, I was in studium libreria a couple of weeks ago and saw a book in the English section lumped in with books about the history of Venice. It was a non-fiction paper back book with a white cover and it had an illustration of a Medusa head on it. I believe the title had something to do with the history of Venice and disease. I could have sworn it said the nasty history of Venice but all Google searches have come up moot. If anyone knows what I’m talking about or happens to be going to Studium, PLEEEEASE help me out and tell me what book it is! It was in the English section, cover facing outward on the first bookshelf. I’m losing my mind. I should have just taken a photo!
