I like fantasy and sci fi and thriller and horror, but not westerns or heavy romance or real world pre industrial age setting. Would prefer kindle unlimited availability but if it’s good and ebook under $5 I will seriously consider. I loved Will Wight, dean Koontz, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, Dragons of Pern series when I was young and many more but this gives an idea. Let me know what you got, please include a couple sentence explanation of the book and not just title and author, thank you!

The Expanse series is right up your alley – space politics meets hard sci fi with some real gritty moments and zero romance focus. First book is Leviathan Wakes and it’s basically detective noir in space with this mysterious alien tech that could wipe out humanity
Also check out Red Rising by Pierce Brown if you haven’t already, starts as hunger games in space but evolves into this massive space opera with incredible world building
