A Canticle for Leibowitz is sorta like, uh, “what is the Brotherhood of Steel was Catholic”. It is post apocalypse and has mutants and so forth. I wouldn’t say it is *that* Fallout-like in tone, because it isn’t as humorous/madcap as Fallout. It is a good book though.

Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman – comes the closest to Fallout of any book I’ve read
