Looking for something spooky but also funny/goofy

I’m looking for something that is a light and entertaining read but revolving around ghosts and/or the supernatural. I’d be happy with something that is a similar feel to The Bobiverse or The Murderbot Diaries but “horror” instead of sci-fi. Or Buffy the Vampire Slayer but a book and not written by a sleazy fake feminist douchebag.

I’ve read some Grady Hendrix and it didn’t vibe with me. I think he’s still more horror and I’m looking for something a bit less horror and more action with some spooky theming if that makes sense.
