Hello, college student here. I noticed I can make observations that make people laugh, ranging from silly ("this place is colder than my sex life") to deep ("some fascists hate women and gays so much they only sleep with other straight dudes").
Sometimes it is wordplay based on the situation; sometimes it is association with different situations that share a pattern; sometimes it's just stating an underlying social dynamic at play.
I want to hone this skill for everyday conversation. I am looking for Humor and Comedy 101: what makes people laugh, techniques to come up with jokes fast; drills to practice humor. I already watch lots of comedy.
Any recommendations?
