I just finished reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, and honestly, I haven't been this hooked on a book in years. I usually struggle with "hard sci-fi" because the technical details can feel like a chore, but this story made the science feel like a high-stakes puzzle. The relationship between the two main characters (no spoilers!) was so wholesome that I actually found myself tearing up in the final chapters.
It’s one of those rare books that makes you feel smarter while you’re reading it, but also breaks your heart at the same time.
