And I'm not talking about the force of gravity, I'm talking about the style of writing. Just finished Lem's Solaris and was blown away. After trying several modern books and failing to get into them, I reverted back to classics, and boy was it worth it!
Now, I've also read and enjoyed some more modern novels like Hyperion and 3 body problem. Again, not just for the themes, the writing style itself seemed more grounded, more like literature than a tv show if that makes sense.
I've read some Asimov so far, some LeGuin, but neither too much.
I've been browsing through the posts around here and didn't seem to find this specific request, so I'm making one.
Please recommend books that are not just stories, but go much deeper into literature with style, characters and themes.
Thanks a bunch!
Peace
