There's this girl I've been seeing for over 10 years, from my adolescence to my adult life. We've had a few flings over the years, always on and off, but she never really wanted me in the end. I've always loved her, a love that hurts deeply, a love that always makes me want to be better. But, no matter how hard I tried, how much I improved as a person, she never felt the same way about me.
And now, at the end, I know she's the woman of my life, but I'm not the man of hers.

Umm the first one that comes to mind is Rebecca, and Anna Karenina they are classical books though
