So I basically stoped reading at the age of 12. I hit an iPod and that was it. I’m 26 now and finally back reading but I feel I’ve missed so much good books over those years m. I’m open to all genres.
Any good staple book recommendations?

The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin
Been in same situation few years back when I got back into reading after college. The Martian is perfect starter – reads like you’re just hanging out with this guy who’s stuck on Mars and he’s pretty funny about it. Also grab something like Gone Girl or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo if you want page-turners that’ll keep you up way too late.
