I am in search of a book that adds a perspective to my life that I can't seem to find elsewhere. For context I work in the medical field and find purpose through my craft. However, I have been feeling an increasing urge to abandon it all and live a life of travel and experience to pass down to my children.

I am looking for a book that has a character who feels similarly, or has a theme of serving others vs. serving self?
