Hello everyone! To preface, I was required to read ‘The God of Small Things’ by Arundhati Roy in high school and what really appealed to me about her work was her vivid articulation Kerala that intermingled the region’s political context and historical context with the region’s imagery.
I’m interested to find equally (or even more masterful descriptiveness) for works that reflect modern life with political undertones. I await everyone’s suggestions.
