Hey, I’m looking for books about characters who are clearly in love with each other, but for one reason or another, it never worked out.
I’m open to any genre, but my only requirement is that they never dated at any point.
The movie Past Lives or the book The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro are good examples of this theme.
