I never get bored of this trope but I'm also quite picky. if anyone has recommendations either traditional or KU.
– Some spice but plot over spice
– villain is actually quite evil/morally grey (not just pretending to be the bad guy)
– character growth is one of the things that really appeal to me/ characters that are going through personal struggles
– no dark romance but dark fantasy welcomed
– slow burn
Bonus points if the villain is more charismatic than broody or has the tropes of MC has to seduce the villain (eg prince, king or similar) I read Avalon Tower, a song to drown rivers & the shadows between us that matched that trope
I'm really running out of options so if anyone has something that fits, I'd be greatful 🙏
